The authors of the JUnit5 plugin have stated that they now have support for JUnit 5 in instrumentation tests. Instrumentation tests still depend on JUnit 4 and the AndroidJUnitRunner. Some Rules may be supported with the JUnit 5 migration support, but if not you will have to wait until the Rules are rewritten as extensions or not use the Rules at all. However if you use JUnit 4 Rules in your tests, there is limited support in JUnit 5 as they are meant to be replaced with extensions. JUnit 5 has also been released recently, and with the help of this plugin you can use it for unit testing in Android Studio. Some older libraries and code may have some problems with this build stage. The Jack tool chain has been replaced with the desugar tranformation process to support Java 8. Some ideas floated around to support older API version, are to have min API version flavors or do Build.VERSION checks for the API version in the code to provide alternative code paths. Since devices running Nougat or Oreo are still in the minority, supporting older versions will continue to be an issue for a while if you want to use Java 8. Just be aware that many of the Java 8 language features will only be available if the minSkdVersion is 24. Finally I can say goodbye to RetroLambda (although many thanks to the authors for this very useful library). Java 8 was released back in 2014, and with Android Studio 3.0 it is finally supported in Android. Hopefully this will be useful for anyone thinking of upgrading from Android Studio 2.x. This is just some initial comments on using some common and new Android tools and libraries with the 3.0 version of Android Studio and the associated Android Gradle plugin. I have been using Android Studio 3.0 since since the alpha versions, and it is good to see it finally released. Here is an example using the additional ‘addRebelAgent’ task that I specified earlier, that I use on my Windows 64 machine. Gradle build files, command line, build scripts, etc. Once set up, that allows you to use the environment variable in multiple ways, e.g. However the path is still hard-coded, which is something that should be avoided if possible.Īnother way to specify the path is to use a system environment variable to point to where JRebel is installed. Putting the path to the JRebel library to use as the agent in a properties file allows multiple developers to have their own version. Gradle bootRun -PaddJRebel=true Finding the Rebel Base Then to use JRebel you just need to add the extra property. I have also added a debug message if the ‘rebelAgent’ property is not available.Īnother way would be to pass an optional property to the ‘bootRun’ task to use as a flag whether to add JRebel or not. Now running ‘bootRun’ would start the app normally, and if you want JRebel then use the ‘rebelRun’ task instead. There would be several ways of doing this, but one would be to add the JRebel startup configuration in an optional task. Make JRebel Optionalįor instance, what if you don’t always want JRebel everytime you start the app with ‘ bootRun’? JRebel plugins for IDE’s like Intellij IDEA are smart enough to give you the option of running your app with or without JRebel However there are several ways to improve on this. Then set the property in gradle.properties: It is basic but works fine.Īll you have to do is to add a few lines to adle: There is some documentation on how to add JRebel to a Spring Boot app that uses Gradle as the build tool. Fixed longstanding bug where culling a broken prop would cause a harmless but annoying warning message about running a coroutine on a disabled object.Adjusted Thorn Shield crit glow and Hammer lightning effects.Improved Crossbow enemy projectile timeout effect.Fixed bug where Spike traps could deal damage when retracted upon first instantiation.Fixed bug where Journal rooms would not be marked as complete when entering them while playing a special mode.Fixed regression bug where Blacksmith was no longer automatically highlighting equipped armor when switching categories.Fixed bug where enemies that were culled while frozen would maintain their frozen visuals, but would attack and have their gravity disabled once they were unculled. The Lamp enemy’s (and their subsequent variants) glow sprite no longer blinks red when the enemy is hit. This will increase lifesteal from enemy kills from 3 to 4, making the early game easier without really affecting the late game stuff. Players are given an additional Soul Steal Rune. The fourth boss will always be a Prime Estuary. The Twin Commander replaces one of the Prime Estuaries. The third boss will always be a TWIN COMMANDER Estuary (two Commander Buffs). First 2 bosses are always Commander Estuaries. (Community) Stabilizing Estuary Difficulty. We originally removed this so that players could immediately see what was different about True Rogue, but with the duplicate starting biome check we don't think it's necessary anymore. Re-added Castle as a viable starting biome. You can no longer get the same starting biome 2x in a row. It will also add more variety as many players could not get far enough to see the true diversity this game mode had to offer. Some folks were getting steamrolled too soon, so this will allow them to gain their footing early and increase their odds of success later. The main goal of these changes is to make the beginning easier so that players can build some momentum for the mid-to-late game. Changed system language detection on initial startup to work more consistently.Fixed a few minor issues with some randomly-generated rooms.Fixed bug where holding Immortal Kotetsu and then talking to Keres or Elpis would trigger the ability after the player finished speaking to them.

The additional fly pattern designs are also influenced by the hair wing Rattler fly pattern which utilizes palmered brown and grizzly hackle and the hair wing Cory's Calftail fly pattern which utilizes palmered hackle and calf tail fibers for the tail. They are carried in the North Country Angler's catalog.Īs Tom and I have developed additional Riffle fly patterns, the Riffle signature design and the Wulff fly pattern influence are fully maintained. This is a durable, good floater that can be seen well after sunset and you can follow the fly as it approaches the fish. Most effective on riffle runs and broken water whrer trout will feed just prior to sunset as they move into their feeding stations. First tied in 1964, these flies float extremely well, most of the series tied with fur bodies and a longer hook that will support heavy hackling. The white wing, hackle and tail tied slightly oversize assure the angler of higher visibility, especially at dusk. The name "riffle' was coined by Dick Surette, and, as the name implies, the flies are used in fast or broken water. The Riffle fly pattern has series evolved as a specialized, calf tail fly pattern from the Wulff fly pattern series. The original Riffle flies are nothing more than versions of Wulff form and style flies, tied in a combination of basic mayfly colors. In his book, The Book of Fly Patterns (1987), Eric Leiser presents the Brown Riffle and The Grizzly Riffle among his compilation of 1000 fly patterns. In his book, Dick Surette's Trout and Salmon Fly Index (1974), Dick Surette introduces the Riffle fly pattern based on the Gray Riffle and notes additional ginger, brown, black and cream versions of the series. Intended for big brown trout during the evening rise. The Riffle fly pattern was created by Dick Surette for fast or broken water of the Saco River. The signature design of the highly visible, high floating Riffle fly pattern is the implimentaion of calf tail for both the upright, oversized wings and the bushy tail, thus, grouped with hair wing fly patterns. Origin and History of the Riffle Fly Pattern: The Comparadun, Haystack, No Hackle and similar fly patterns are exceptions to the hair wing fly pattern group as they are designed for surface film presentationin in calm water and without the use of hackle. Hackle is tied to be bushy or palmered, providing a high-float presentation. Body color is typically the basis for the fly name. The tail is typically tied using hair fibers and typically omitted for the caddisfly. A caddisfly wing is tied downwing or tentwing and a stonefly wing is tied downwing or flatwing using hair fibers or an appropriate synthetic, hair-like substitute. A mayfly wing is tied upright and divided using hair fibers or an appropriate synthetic, hair-like substitute. The group of hair wing fly patterns are designed in general for roughwater and to suggest a mayfly or other upright wing insects as well as caddisfly or stonefly or other down wing insects. These names prevailed, regardless of size and use and many additional fly patterns have since then been labeled a “Wulff” of some sort In 1939, Dan Bailey successfully renamed and marketed these fly patterns as the Gray Wulff, White Wulff and Royal Wulff when tied in the smaller sizes as an adaptation for the pursuit of trout. Wulff called his flies the Gray Hair-Wing, White Hair-Wing and Royal Hair-Wing as he pursued Atlantic salmon. Wulff created the Gray Hair Wing, White Hair Wing and Royal Coachman Hair Wing originally as dry flies for Adirondack trout in 1929 and on large hooks for Atlantic salmon in Nova Scotia soon after. Wulff preferred to use moose mane hair for the tails, providing a more realistic, long, sparse tail for his fly patterns. He first created the Gray Wulff using elk hair, then later the White Wulff and Royal Wulff using calf tail for the upright and divided wings. In the late 1930s, Lee Wulff saw the value in tying hair wing fly patterns for Atlantic salmon as well as trout. In bright colors calf tail hair is highly visible as well as highly floatant. Many hair wing fly patterns utilize calf tail or kip tail hair fibers for the wings. It worked with no configurations and immediately picked up my SamsungTV that I purchased 7 years ago. Now it is the case that the accuracy of the measurement decreases with increasing distance. Only then can a concrete picture of precipitation in the area emerge. To display these results in a radar image, one needs not only one, but several stations at different locations. How is a weather radar created?Īs you already know, the radar station and its radar beams are used to measure the amount of water vapor present in a cloud. Only the use of new types of radar technologies, such as the Doppler radar, made this possible. …that the first weather radar was already built in the early 1940s? However, this type of weather radar could not accurately predict the intensity of the rain or the strength of the thunderstorm or storm. This central computer is responsible for processing all the collected data and using it to create a picture of the general weather situation. These weather stations are linked to each other and transmit the collected data to a central computer. To be able to make a concrete weather forecast and to collect and analyze the data over a large area, many different weather radar stations are required at various locations. What is a weather radar live?Ī weather radar live is a special type of radar that collects and analyzes data on the weather situation. You can also zoom in with your fingers or the mouse wheel. Use the + or – at the top right to zoom in. By finger pressure or mouse click you can move the area on the map. With the cursor at the bottom left in the center you can view the weather over time. The weather radar live itself displays cloud cover, current precipitation, storms, thunderstorms or tornados in real-time. This is how the weather radar live works: Depending on the intensity, the precipitation appears on the rain radar in the colors blue (weak precipitation), green, yellow, orange (moderate precipitation), red or purple (very heavy precipitation). Thunderstorms and lightning strikes are indicated by a small lightning symbol. Hairs on the upper surface are thick-walled, rounded or acute at the tip, and (in some species) up to 1 cm (0.39 in) long. The spores are allantoid (sausage-shaped), and (in some species) up to 22 µm long. The spore-producing basidia are tubular, laterally septate, and (in some species) up to 100 µm long. Unpigmented white forms are occasionally encountered. The spore-bearing underside is smooth, wrinkled, veined, or reticulate (net-like). The upper surface is finely pilose to densely hirsute. The fruitbodies occur singly or in clusters. Description Īll species of Auricularia form thin, brownish, rubbery-gelatinous fruit bodies that are shelf-like or ear-shaped and up to 120 mm (4.7 in) across and 5 mm (0.20 in) thick. It has also shown that many species are more restricted in distribution than previously thought, resulting in the description of additional new taxa. Molecular research, based on cladistic analysis of DNA sequences, has shown that Auricularia (including Hirneola) forms a natural, monophyletic grouping. This division into two genera was maintained by some authors until at least the 1960s, though American mycologist Bernard Lowy's monograph of the genus had accepted Hirneola as a synonym of Auricularia in 1952. mesenterica within the genus but, on the basis of differences in fruitbody appearance, introduced a new genus, Hirneola, for most other species. In 1848 Swedish mycologist Elias Magnus Fries accepted A. sambuci (a synonym of Auricularia auricula-judae). In 1822 Christian Hendrik Persoon restricted the genus to two gelatinous species, Auricularia mesenterica (which became the type species) and A. The genus was first introduced in 1780 by French mycologist Pierre Bulliard for a range of different fungi producing fruit bodies with an ear-like shape. Several Auricularia species are edible and commercially cultivated on a large scale in China and East Asia. Basidiocarps (fruit bodies) are typically gelatinous and ear-shaped, with a slightly downy to conspicuously hirsute upper surface and an under surface that is smooth, wrinkled or veined. (1888)Īuricularia is a genus of fungi in the family Auriculariaceae. |
